I remember making 80% of my resolutions the same of 2009 for 2010. Looking at them now, surely keeping them all would be something. But honestly, I did not keep all of them. Some are accomplished and met, others not; but i believe there are even greater in store in 2011.

A min more and it’s into the new year. Everyone’s cheering, I hear fireworks somehow. It’s still the same every year that I stare infront of this screen while everyone is celebrating the new year. But what’s different is the heart and mind facing this new year. With a whole new season and a whole new level of even greater with God, I’m still asking for more.

Perhaps I’m trying to be chilled and cool. I hear the screams and cheers of the new year outside my window, but I’m just sitting here taking it with a smile in my heart. Saying “God, I’m ready.”

“…to face this whole new season with You. To fix my eyes on You every step of the way. To keep my heart beating closely in time with Yours and to fill my thoughts with Your words daily.”

This year I’m working towards a deeper level of growth, discipline and faith. Tapping on His love through this year. There’s no other way to live 2011, there’s no other way to live life, than with You.

Counting on You

The best friend you can be to anyone is to do everything for them with God’s love,
treat them the very way God did for you and to help them with God’s wisdom.

Lord, teach and guide me onto every step with You.

Here is my heart, make it Your sanctuary.
For nobody else, but only You. God.

Eunice.

Desiring God

That look in your eyes is all that I need.
This world could offer anything, but they can keep it all
Because You, God, are the only one for me.

Eunice.

Job 11:13-19

Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him, if you put away th sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, pour out your hearts before Him;
God is a refuge for us.

Heart’s Desire

The fear of the Lord encompasses the love of what God loves as well as to hate what He hates. What’s important to Him becomes important to us, and what is not so important to Him is not so important to us. We make His priorities and desires, our own. The manifestation of the fear of the Lord is unwavering obedience to the desires and will of God.

We can know the talk, but do we know the Voice? We know the acts, but do we know His ways? We know what He said, but do we know what He is saying?

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

God is passionate about His relationship with those who love Him as He has loved them. We are unable to try and hold onto both the things of the world and the things of God, our self desires and God’s desires.

Even Paul wrote, “But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ – the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.” (Phil 3:7-9)

For He is a God who is passionate about His relationship with you. He bought you with a high price. So, don’t just know all that were told and said. Don’t be enslaved by the world. But make what is important to Him becomes important to you, and what is not so important to Him is not so important to you. And make His priorities and desires, your own! I desire a life of intimacy with God! Do you? :)

On My Way

You were there the moment when I first learned to breathe. I’ll be there the morning you come out in white. No, I don’t believe it’s all in vain. Because, I’m on my way.

Script Long Sold

It’s been awhile since I last heard this song. But these guys totally sung it way better! It’s currently 2:22AM this saturday morning. I’ve finally started on all 5 of my paintings, all new, all not seen before. Alright, maybe 4 out of 5 not seen before. I’m getting used to this new style and I really like it. Okay, I better get some sleep soon. Good night world. (Oh shucks, I realized I have yet to write.)

It’s time to learn some new lines
Try listening, for the voice that’s whispering.

Take Me All The Way

The Motions

Help me fight through the nothingness of life.

All The Broken Pieces
God can place all our broken pieces back together. Yes, Matthew West’s songs are playing now. Okay. Shan’t say much anymore tonight. Know He loves us, God loves us. Believe it.

Grace To Pull Through

Each time He said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

But I will rescue you on that day, declares th Lord; you will NOT be handed over to those you fear. I will save you, you will NOT fall by th sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in Me, declares th Lord. (Jeremiah 39:17-18)

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:22-23)

You are there when I am down and out – You’re holding me, Your love is so amazing. God, You’ve changed me. Even though I don’t deserve Your love, You look beyond my fault and You showed me mercy. How can I ever thank You enough?

God, it’s not over, it’s not th end. When doubt is strong and my will is weak to even believe again –
Let Your grace walk in.

I reblogged the same entries again. Words I used to say here just reminded me time from time again that I’m caught in His grip of grace, and I need not fear. When times are tough and things go wrong, when life gets difficult and we’re breaking down, God’s grace. God’s amazing grace. He is still there for me, He always is, beside me.

God has the best future planned for me.
And, I surrender all.

Shelves of Bottles

“You wouldn’t know when. Someday, you’ll just need it.”

This is a bottle; a bottle filled with papers. It’s been a long while since I opened this, this birthday present bottle. (Wait, it’s a jar. I guess.) This was the latest, but one of the greatest unique gifts I’ve received for my birthday this year. Or was it a Christmas gift? Haha. Perhaps both. I’m not too sure since my dear friend mentioned before he doesn’t remember birthdays.

What are on those pieces of papers you might wonder. They are reminders of God’s love, words of encouragements, and maybe some random line that could just bring one a little smile. And who knows when you’ll need them? The thing is, they are always there, in that bottle. (I mean, jar.)

There are shelves of bottles, bottles that contain various things. Perhaps at times, we so happen to pick out the wrong bottle and get stuck in there. Perhaps at times, we just need to know which to pick out from the shelves and open them up. And at times like today, God just reminded me of the jar. (I got it right this time.)

“Your presence speaks louder than words, so just be here and stay with me.”

God, I thank You for Joey. :)
And every other that has always been there for me.

Eunice.

Every Moment – Joy Williams

We laughed out loud ‘til we cried
And the tears were sweet
Midnight melted to morning
A moment faded to memory
All these days
They just slip away through our fingers
So

Don’t let go
Hold onto every moment
Always know
Hold onto every moment that you can

We move on with no regrets to our destiny
Held by the hands of the Father
We share His love and He leads us through
All these days
They just slip away through our fingers

So don’t let go
Hold onto every moment
Always know
Hold onto every moment that you can

Running through yesterday into tomorrow
Don’t let it just drift away
Forget about tying the hands of time
Give every minute to the One who gave us today

Every Ounce Of Courage

Do not be pressed by your problems,
Be led by your dreams.

Running through yesterday into tomorrow,
Don’t let it just drift away.
Forget about tying the hands of time,
Give every minute to the One who gave us today.

Flipped

“But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me, says the Lord.” – Isaiah 54:17 (Amplified Bible)

I can’t help but think about the old conversation I had with a good old friend who rang up. Remembering those amazing God-moments and going all way out for Christ. It’s amazing how you’ve not talked to one in months, but felt as though you both talked just moments ago. And we’ll just talk about God, pray for each other and completely understood without much saying, and still encourages specifically one’s own unique way. And after that, all the other stuff comes in like school and life etc. :p

Flipping through written pages. It’s alright to look back, isn’t it?
Look back, when it is a good view. :)

“Eunice, no weapon formed against you shall prosper!”

You’re Significant

I believe I walk and live among heroes daily. Are you one of them?

What’s Your Next Step?

The song that kept ringing in my head the moment I got home. I can’t help but still be amazed at how much a blast today has been! Serving God out of love, joy and a heart of worship, in media and alongside with those awesome peeps, being able to be at service celebrating His goodness – What more can I ask for?

Surely things like school work do come to mind. The need for balance, yet really living LIFE (Living In Fulfillment Everyday), ultimately walking side by side with God in all I think and do. I can’t help but feel so blessed and loved by all God has done and given! From then and now, and how far I’ve come. And yes, I’m going to work harder and I’m just going to keep getting better and better! :)

I’m loving Sound more and more! :) And it doesn’t stop here!

Cause I know there’s got to be another level
Somewhere closer to the other side
And I’m feeling like it’s now or never
Can I break the spell of the typical

Voice Out.

The One Thing

“It’s the one thing inside of your head and you’ve got to get it.” – George Sampson

We like people like you. People who don’t get quite far enough and go away thinking about it
and think you know what, I’m going to prove them wrong.

You don’t have limitations. Stop thinking you do.
You have an enormous potential more than you can ever imagine.
So don’t stop at a setback, setup for a greater comeback!

You Hold Me Now

“Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going back to God” – John 13:3

God, it’s going to be a long day. Hold me, in that secret place, in Your arms.
Knowing I have been born of You, and I am going to You.
And that deep down within, I do not have to be afraid.

I’m closing that door behind.

Like You Do

I found this painting I did quite awhile back. But I never kept it, wondered why? I did this at The President’s Challenge Exhibit at Felicia Low’s space last year. Never got the chance to get it back despite being one of my fav on the spot less than an hour work. I pondered upon who saw that work, the impression it left on people, or was it just another painting?

Today, a series of events wrecked my life forever.
Yes, Wonka’s Grape and Strawberry Nerds.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3:12-14)

God, You’re all this heart is living for.
To be like You in all You do.
Stop Living In Fear. Because that’s not who you are euny.

Step Up And Forward

“Let go of your past, step into your future.” – Joey

Cherish the people who cherish you. Not ones who play empty promises.
And I’ve learnt to be a drifter.

Be careful little ears what you hear
When flattery leads to compromise, the end is always near
Be careful little lips what you say
For empty words and promises lead broken hearts astray
– Slow Fade by Casting Crowns

I’ve made up my mind, no compromise.

Even Silent Words Matter

1 Samuel 27:1 – “And David said in his heart (…)”

The chapter begins with David’s discouraged decision; what’s more, what David said in his heart. He may never have never said it out at all, said it to anyone else, or even said it to God too. But David, he said it in his heart. What we say in our heart has a tremendous power to shape our thinking, our actions, and too – our whole life.

If someone says in their heart, “I’m lousy and I’m not good enough,” it will make a difference in their life. We all know life and death lies in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Not just the words we speak out loud, but the words we prophesy into our very own heart indeed, have an impact in each of our lives. It’s not alone what others speak about you, but are you speaking life into your very own heart? Or are you not?

By the same principle, if someone says in their heart, “God loves me,” it makes a difference. If you say, “I am grateful and thankful for every blessing I have,” or words like, “Others come first,” it makes a huge difference in your life.

God says we are dearly loved and we are priceless. He knows our every thoughts and feelings, and we are not a second less on His mind. In what rights do we have to bring our value down?

You are accepted, you are loved,
And you are the best, His beautiful creation. :)

Eunice.
